Renovation of the track bed on Kórnicka Street is nearing completion.
NEWS | Renovation of the track bed on Kórnicka Street is nearing completion.
In the area of the Saint Roch Bridge at Kórnicka Street, track replacement works are at a very advanced stage. In the coming days, it will be possible for drivers to drive through Piotrowo Street. If weather conditions allow, it is planned to introduce facilitations for traffic participants in this area at the end of this week.
The new track is now complete, and the reconstruction of the asphalt surface on Kórnicka Street is underway. In the first place, these works will be carried out at the crossing of Piotrowo and Serafitek streets. Thanks to this, in the second part of the week, it will be possible to drive through this section of Kórnicka Street. Drivers and cyclists travelling straight ahead on Piotrowo and Serafitek streets will no longer have to use the headlands that are currently located on both sides of the intersection.
The works are carried out as part of the track repairs planned by MPK Poznań for 2025. Read here: Track repairs 2025

Cleaners in a closed loop system
NEWS | Cleaners in a closed loop system
Can a little thing in the workshop make a difference? Our company operates over 200 vehicles and machines that are constantly in use, so they naturally require regular servicing. Our qualified mechanics undertake various repairs and ongoing inspections to ensure the safety and proper operation of the equipment. Throughout this process, we need to prioritise environmental care. We decided to cooperate with Lindström, which supplies our workshop with cleaners in a closed-loop system. Why is this important? This way, we have control over the amount of material used, which is then washed and reused during our workshop’s work. As a result, we do not generate unnecessary waste, and the entire cleaning process is supervised by ISO-certified personnel.
Extension of DW 190 in the Wągrowiec District
NEWS | Extension of DW 190 in the Wągrowiec District
On 18 July 2025, we concluded an agreement with the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Road Administration in Poznań for the extension of voivodeship road No. 190 in the Wągrowiec district.
The scope of work will include an 11.085 km-long road section, as well as the construction and reconstruction of 16 engineering facilities. The project will also include the reconstruction of intersections with district and municipal roads, as well as the realisation of exits, pavements, cycle paths and pedestrian and cycle routes. New bus bays and bus stops will also be built. The completion of all works is planned for 2027.
The project is co-financed by the European Union, with a total value exceeding PLN 76 million.
The work will be carried out in phases from July 2025 to the end of December 2026. A temporary traffic organisation is being put in place to ensure the safety and fluidity of traffic during the works.
Highlights:
- Traffic in the direction of Wągrowiectravels one-way on the repaired road for vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
- Traffic towards Margonin (cars up to 3.5 tons) is being diverted via local detours – diversion routes will be clearly marked at each stage of the works.
- Cars exceeding 3.5 tons must use the main detour through Wągrowiec – Gołańcz – Margonin (roads DW193, DW241, DW242); this detour will remain in operation throughout the investment.
- It is possible to temporarily close intersections and make changes in the course of detours – always pay attention to the current signage.
- Access to properties, farms and utilities and supplies remains maintained; appropriate conditions and access information will be provided at each stage.
