Reconstruction of the Old Market Square

We were a subcontractor for the renovation of the water mains and combined sewer system in the Old Market in Poznań.

The DN500 water main was repaired using a trenchless method – loose relining (PE100 RC MAXI protect pipe with an outer jacket made of PP with a diameter of DN450 x 26.7 mm SDR17) with a length of 311.49 m in ul. Paderewskiego, the Old Market Square and ul. Wodna. There has also been a refurbishment of the water supply vent chamber in ul. Wodna, and the decommissioning of the water supply chamber on the Market Square.

We carried out the aforementioned work in the period 12.08.2022 – 14.10.2022.

The sewer renovation included the following scope:

• Renovation of combined sewers using the CIPP method, fibreglass sleeve in diameters and lengths:200/300 diameter – 304.04 m;
  300/450 diameter – Old Market Square – 21.86 m;
  300/450 diameter – outbound streets – 47.83 m;
  350/520 diameter – 16.55 m;
  400/600 diameter – 135.83 m;
  300 diameter – 64.31 m;
  400 diameter – 27.08 m;
• Renovation of sewer connections with epoxy-soaked sleeve :to the plot boundary – Old Market – 197.72 m;
  to the plot boundary – diverging streets – 37.31 m;
• Installation of hat fittings:Hat fittings – 12 pieces;
• Renovation of sewer maintenance holes with construction chemistry:Rehabilitation of sewer maintenance holes – 26 pieces
• Renovation of sewers was carried out in the period 08.01.2024 – 14.02.2024
