Renovation of the water main in Czapury
A critical project for the residents of the suburban village of Czapury. In late autumn 2020, we undertook a project to rehabilitate a DN1200 water main in ul. Leśna in Czapury.
The grey cast-iron pipes, situated at a depth of 2 to 5 m and with a total length of 352 m, were sprayed centrifugally using the COVERLAN hybrid composite—a pioneering technology in Europe for the spray rehabilitation of water pipes. The trenchless method reduced disruption to traffic in the construction area, the amount of equipment needed, and site restoration costs, while also minimising interference with the parent pipeline.
