OFFER | WASTE MANAGEMENT IN AGRICULTURE

Waste management in agriculture

For agriculture in harmony with nature. We are experts in sludge treatment. At our composting plant, the result is an organic soil conditioner—a product with a wide range of applications that effectively improves soil quality and supports sustainable agriculture.

In compliance with the environment and the highest standards

We compost biodegradable waste using the latest technology. We have a fully automated system for loading and unloading compost, known as the walking floor system. The intensive composting phase takes place in closed, aerated stainless steel tunnels, ensuring an environmentally friendly and controlled composting process. We work in a closed circuit – we minimise the generation of new waste.

The final product, formed during the sieving of compost, is an organic soil improvement agent – KOMCEL and KOMCEL BIS. It not only improves soil quality but also reduces the carbon footprint and costs.
Our products have received positive opinions regarding their meeting of the quality parameters and suitability for the indicated purposes of a soil improvement agent, as issued by the Institute of Fertilisation and Soil Science, the National Veterinary Institute, the Institute of Rural Medicine, the Institute of Horticulture, and the Institute of Environmental Protection. They have also received marketing approval from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

For farmers, gardeners and community gardeners

KOMCEL and KOMCEL BIS products can be used to improve the physical and chemical properties of all types of soils low in organic matter and poor in potassium. Both improvers are soil conditioners, contain no admixtures and are environmentally safe. The products also increase the soil’s retention capacity (i.e., the ability of the soil to absorb and retain water), thereby enhancing the plants’ resistance to drought.

Our products can be used on agricultural and energy crops, on all types of soil, lawns, and other urban green spaces, including ornamental bedding plants, as well as for the reclamation of degraded agricultural land and for the consolidation of slopes and roadside embankments.

A wealth of plant growth-promoting ingredients

The production process of the soil conditioner is conducted using the best composting technology. It is monitored and controlled to achieve the set quality parameters. The product is produced from biodegradable waste and structural raw materials, such as forestry chips and selectively collected green municipal waste, including grass, branches, and leaves, in accordance with the relevant certificates.

Pure savings

Using KOMCEL and KOMCEL BIS means spending less on artificial fertilisers, making farms more profitable. This is confirmed by comparing the cost of a tonne of nitrogen applied as compost and in mineral form.

Comparison of the cost per tonne of nitrogen applied as compost and as mineral.

The average cost of kg of urea-derived N between June 2024 and June 2025 was between PLN 3.8 – 5.3. The cost of a kilogram of nitrogen contained in the compost during this period was PLN 1.4. The difference is considerable; for a hectare of cultivation, at a dose of approximately 200 kg nitrogen/ha, the saving is between PLN 503-789/ha.

In addition, with each tonne of compost, the soil is enriched with 22 kg of P2O5, 4.4 kg of K2O, and several dozen kilograms of organic carbon. So even allowing for the higher transport and soil application costs than for mineral fertiliser, the financial benefit is considerable.

Price List

The price of the compost depends on the size of the order and is as follows:

Order size Net price per tonne
<200 tonnes PLN 20.00
201-500 tonnes PLN 17.00
>501 tonnes PLN 14.00

For larger quantities, we offer individually negotiated discounts.

The sale of compost with loading onto the buyer’s vehicle takes place from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 3pm. It is possible to order compost including transport.
